How we use these words

Reikan & reishi

Japanese terms used here for spiritual intuition and clairvoyant impressions. A reading communicates the reader’s interpretations; it is not objective verification of unseen beings or future events.

Dialogue with the departed

A spiritual reading in which Asasuzu shares impressions concerning someone who has died. It does not provide independently verifiable evidence of that person’s wishes.

Kuyo

Remembrance and offerings associated with Japanese religious traditions. The form varies between families and traditions. A reading does not replace a formal ceremony.

Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples

These belong to distinct religious traditions in Japan, although their histories and everyday customs often intersect. Ask the particular shrine or temple about its own practices.

Kotodama

A Japanese spiritual idea concerning significance or power attributed to words. On this site it describes a spiritual belief, not a guarantee that saying particular words will cause an event.

Enmusubi

A Japanese spiritual concept of meaningful connections or bonds. It does not mean someone can be made to love you or that a relationship is guaranteed.
